Community advocates PPS answers a civic duty to help make public schools effective for all children and strong anchors of their communities. Ironically, the community rarely has any say over privatized schools and parents can only vote with their feet. More learning, less testing! Public schools are far from perfect, but even given their deficiencies, they have benefits that far outweigh those of privatized schools.
